Faulty or damaged in transit items.
1, Returns must first be logged with us on our system, please use the returns link at the bottom of the page or call us during normal opening hours to obtain an RMA number or send us an email containing:
Item description, when you bought it from us, if possible a photo of/or the original receipt or invoice, a description of the fault when it happens the conditions and any relevant information we need to diagnose or confirm the fault, Your name, address, postcode, contact phone number or email address.
2, It is the buyers responsibility to cover the cost of returning the item and provide adequate insurance cover to protect during transit.
3, On arrival the item will be inspected and tested for the fault, if confirmed as a manufacturing defect or early life failure you will be given options for a replacement or refund to your original payment method.
4, Some items have longer than usual warranties these are provided by the manufacturer not Green Valley Hydro we act as a mediator receiving your return informing and arranging collection and informing you of the result.
if your return is within 12 months, the fault can be confirmed in store and we have plenty of stock of that item you will normally have a straight swap and we do the rest.
No Fault Found Returns: (NFFR)
These will be returned to you as there’s nothing wrong with it the fault may lay somewhere else in your setup. Take it home and keep looking for the cause.
Any items sent back to the manufacturer for testing that are found to be NFFR will incurr a charge of £20. Any item abandoned will be disposed after 60 days.
Excess or overstock returns.
1, Excess items returned must be done with prior arrangement, please contact us first to obtain an overstock return number.
2, Excess return shipping and insurance is the buyers responsibility.
3, The items must return in an as new condition in original and undamaged packaging and will incur a 20% inspection, testing and restocking fee, this is NON NEGOTIABLE!
4, Any excess items returned that were specially ordered in as a request are done so at the discretion of the management and will incur a 25% inconvenience, inspection, testing and restocking fee.
Item description discrepancies:
Sometimes items are rebadged, rebranded or remarketed we have no control over this, and while we make our best efforts to maintain this website with the upto date, correct and accurate information provided to us by the manufacturer and supply chain, please confirm with the manufacturer websites first that the specifications of the item we are offering are suitable for your application, before ordering.
Any item being returned due to a discrepancy in model number where the specifications are the same as the item originally ordered shipping will be at the customers cost including insurance to cover the full purchase price.
The return is at the customer risk and will not be refunded if not received.
Once the item has been received in the same condition as it was sent, un-damaged, un-used, original packaging returned in a saleable condition and tested ok, a refund for the purchase price will be issued minus any initial shipping costs. Any damages to returns will reduce the refund issued in line with the severity of the damage upto the full purchase price.
Anyone sending back their old equipment trying to get a new item through our returns system will be reported to the authorities for fraud.
Store pickup collections will be held for 30 days then returned to stock a full refund will be provided minus any payment provider charges beyond our control.
Non stock items will incur a 50% restocking fee.
